Mistaken

black and white notions
strewn about as if fixed truths
yet so misguided

about my choices
you are gravely mistaken
they're not what you think

it's really a shame
you severely missed the mark
on how I evolved

time and time again
intellectualizing
where heart was needed

ganja clouds obscured
clear seeing ability
disguised as the truth

you spoke of my shine
losing sight by ignorance
missing my power

I did not deserve
an ounce of the wrath you hurled
it was yours to feel
