Acceptance

my experience
was you were not a full yes
and so I chose me

it simply won't work
if you can't receive my love
due to your armor

I cannot control
the misrepresentation
so I just live me

how I keep learning
expansion and contraction
over and over

I gave everything
from the depths of heart and soul
and that leaves me peace

letting go to Life
a greater wisdom at play
for the both of us

some might deem me mad
for this volume of poems
yet I love my depths
