Truth

you helped me break through
some of my deepest patterns
with your love and wrath

it couldn't have worked
not without active effort
to deal with shadows

the river dried up
not because of its structure
but malnourishment

with all the roses
there were also many thorns
some small and some big

there's subjective truth
and a greater cosmic truth
making up wholeness
