Clarity

I am allergic
to another labeling
my experience

it was too often
I catered to your ego
at both our expense

contempt the reaper
killed the foundations of trust
both sides are guilty

now I clearly see
the spell we were each under
while Her love remains

though there is no grudge
I don't see reconnection
sans acknowledgement
